Christina Nicole Sawicki has touched the Greenville community and beyond with her volunteer efforts. The donates her time and talents to Miracle Hill Ministries, the REACH work camps, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate. She currently leads a project for Cargo of Dreams, a non-profit that outfits the interior of 40-ft cargo containers to be used as schools in South Africa, “where they provide a practical solution to the problems presented by the sometimes unstable political climate and lack of funds for education.” Called a “consistent over-achiever” by her nominator, she was named Greenville Model of the Year in 2003, became an intern at Allora, LLC by age 18 and a project administrator there by age 20. She was a student at Greenville Tech in business management and interior design, a student at Savannah College of Art and Design – the top design school in the nation – and a now a business owner – all by age 24. Christina is the youngest honoree in this year’s Best and Brightest class.
